It has been several weeks since I last updated my blog! I am surprised at the number of hits that my blog has been receiving over the past few months as well. Thank you, Mommy Followers for your support!
In case you're wondering why I seemed MIA for what seemed like half of the year already, I recently went back to law school and the semester ended last June. Schooling while working full-time (I am a freelance accountant for small businesses in the US) is already a lot on my plate. I can't say for certain if I maintained some sort of balance while juggling my mom duties, work and school responsibilities, because honestly I just tried to make it day by day. As if that wasn't enough, I am also handling most of our online business in Shopee and Lazada. 24 hours in a day is not enough.
Our Online Stores
We directly manufacture and sell maternity and breastfeeding clothes in our Lazada and Shopee Store. Some of these items, like the Alexa Nursing Nightgown and Lizbeth Nursing Dress, were conceptualized and designed by me. It is difficult to start an online selling business because the market is saturated with many businesses local and branded alike. But still, I wanted to venture in this business because I want to promote breastfeeding.

A month ago, I also decided that soap manufacturing and distribution might be a good niche to expand into. As someone who is constantly into new bath and skincare products, this is another interesting venture I'd like to get my hands on. We are currently developing new soap formulations with our partner skincare manufacturer and I am so excited to share it all with you at a super affordable price and amazing quality!
Law School Online Life at UP Law
I always tell my friends who is interested in pursuing law that if they love their mental health, they should reconsider their decision to go. No, I am not joking. Studying law is arduous. You should be passionate and disciplined enough to subject yourself to mental torture. The classes are grueling especially when you are on deck for a recitation. The readings are long and the hours are short to memorize, synthesize and comprehend. I mean, you can study for 16 hours a day and if you are Spartan enough, sure, you will definitely pass and get a satisfactory grade above 2.0 or 86. But for working students, that may not be the case. You need to study hard and study smart.
That's it for my latest update! I promise to post more reviews very soon--and I do have a lot of drafts already!
